BOISE -- Idaho Lottery officials says eastern Idaho continues to be lucky for Powerball players.

For the second time in the past two months, a winning Powerball ticket worth $200,000 was sold in that part of the state.

One ticket from Wednesday night’s draw matched all five of the first numbers, but not the Powerball. The ticket was sold in Bannock County.

The winning numbers for Wednesday $54.4 million Powerball draw were 5, 19, 29, 45, 47 and the Powerball was 25.

“Eastern Idaho is definitely a hot spot for big winning Powerball tickets,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball for last night’s draw to check their tickets carefully for winners. Too often we see players not match the Powerball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers and is worth $200,000.”

Over the past two years, Idaho has had 11 winning Powerball tickets that matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball.  Eight of those 111 tickets were sold in eastern Idaho.

Last night’s winner has 180 days to claim their prize in Boise.

With no jackpot winner Wednesday night, the Powerball jackpot for Saturday night’s draw is an estimated $66 million.
