Event: Public Information Session re: DIGITAL TELEVISION CONVERSION - How to prepare for the end of analog television
Description: Learn about the upcoming transition to digital television broadcasting from FCC staff attorney Kristi Thompson. Ms. Thompson will present programs on Saturday, September 27, at two Boise Public Library locations. She'll be at the Main Library (715 S. Capitol Boulevard) at 1:00pm.; and at the Library! at Hillcrest (Hillcrest Shopping Center at Overland Road and Orchard Street) at 3:00pm. Ms. Thompson will go over the key elements of the digital transition during the presentation, including how the federal government's coupon program works. The program will include a question and answer period.
