CALDWELL -- A 39-year-old Idaho man was arrested over the weekend after police officers say he broke into a condominium in Caldwell, undressed and fought with law enforcement agents after jumping unclothed into a swimming pool.

John Welsh is accused of fighting with police and jumping into a swimming pool nude.

Sherry Turner, a Caldwell resident, says the man entered her unlocked, unoccupied home and locked himself inside.

He then left his clothes in Turner's living room and went out to a courtyard swimming pool before jumping into the water.

After police arrived, the man attempted to run. He fought with officers before being eventually restrained with a stun gun.

John Welsh was briefly hospitalized, then taken to the Canyon County jail, where he was booked on suspicion of indecent exposure and other alleged crimes.

Turner plans to start locking her condo door.
