The body of a man was found by hunters this morning in an area near the Ada-Boise County line.

BOISE COUNTY -- Ada Sheriff's deputies were called to the Boise Foothills this morning after hunters found a man's body.

The discovery was made out along the 8th Street extension, near forest land.

Hunters discovered the body around 9 a.m.

It was originally reported that there had been an ATV accident, but that information now appears not to be true.

Authorities believe the deceased man may have been there for several days. Police believe the man may have taken his own life.

A BLM district ranger has been sent to the area with a GPS device to determine what county the dead man is actually in.

This case could be turned over to the Boise County Sheriff's Office.
