Most Idaho stocks end day down

BOISE - Idaho's stocks took a beating on Wall Street Thursday, as the market dipped nearly 700 points.
SuperValu Inc., dropped nearly 9 percent, ending the day at $18.84.
Hewlett-Pacakard ended down slightly, just 1.3 percent to end at $39.47.
IdaCorp which owns Idaho Power slid 4.4 percent to $24.57.
OfficeMax Inc., which many former Boise Cascade workers own stock in finished down 4.4 percent.
URS which now owns Washington Group International finished up down about 8 percent.
Coldwater Creek, the North Idaho retailing giant was hit hard, falling about 17 percent to end at $3.87.
Boise Inc. ended down 12.6 percent.
The lone up stock was Micron Technology, which ended the day up just more than 3 percent. The company announced it would cut nearly 15 percent of its workforce.
