Boise Tower bankruptcy proceedings underway

BOISE -- Bankruptcy proceedings are underway for the tower that never was at 8th and Main streets in Downtown Boise.
If the court agrees, it could clear the way for creditors to foreclose against Charterhouse Boise Downtown Properties, which owns the property.
A development company based in Lake Tahoe, California has now been assigned trustee of the mortgage on the property.
Charterhouse owner Gary Rogers would not comment today on what would happen to the project if the trustee forecloses on the property.
