Deputies: Man hit pregnant woman's car on the run from cops

KUNA - One man is in jail after an attempted traffic stop lead to an accident involving two cars and a motorcycle.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Thursday night in Kuna on Swan Falls Road and Avalon Street.
Traffic was diverted for most of the morning.
Sergeant Mike Rowe with the Ada County Sheriff's Office says it all started when an officer was trying to make a traffic stop on a black four-door Oldsmobile
Rowe says the officer suspected the driver may be drunk, the driver failed to yield and then sped up as the road curved.
Rowe tells us the driver of that black car side swiped a Honda driven by a pregnant woman.
A motorcyclist was driving behind the Honda, and after the two cars collided the black car spun into the motorcyclist.
“The driver of the motorcycle was injured,” Ada County Sheriff’s Sergeant Mike Rowe said. “The driver of the black Honda was slightly injured. The suspect had just an abrasion and refused medical attention.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital by Life Flight - the extent of their injuries are not known.
After the accident officers discovered the man driving the four-door had a felony warrant for his arrest.

This motorcycle was involved in a crash that involved a man police say was driving drunk.
Hector Manuel Rodriguez, 24 of Nampa is charged with aggravated DUI, felony eluding police and the previous warrant on a drug charge.
Ada County is handling the criminal investigation, while Idaho State Police handle the accident.
