BOISE -- A starting defensive back for the Boise State Broncos will play today after spending some time behind bars on Thanksgiving day.
That Bronco is 20-year-old Jeron Johnson. He turned himself in yesterday after failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge.
A spokesperson for the Boise Police Department says on Sept. 6. Johnson was cited for a minor in consumption.
A bench warrant was issued and Johnson turned himself in.
BSU Sports Information Director Max Corbet says Johnson will play in today's game against Fresno State.
Johnson is a starter and has played in every game this year.
