BOISE --As we head into winter there is a bit of good news for low-income Idahoans -- the state has more money to help you heat your home.

Idaho has 54 percent more funding than it did last year from the low-income home energy assistance program.

Not only is there more money available, but Governor Butch Otter says Idaho is expanding the income guidelines so more people can get help.

For information contact a community action agency or call the Idaho Care Line at 211.
