UPDATE: Thousands still without power in southern Idaho

BOISE -- Tuesday's thunderstorms knocked out power across the region, and at last report, about 2,500 customers still have no electricity.
As of 5 p.m. Wednesday, Idaho Power reports more than 100 outages in the Mountain Home-Hammett area, Twin Falls-Shoshone area and in Idaho City-Placerville area.
Workers are still trying to get power back on.
Crews from Boise have been sent into the affected areas to help restore power.
Around 10,000 Idaho Power customers were affected by outages from the storm - stretching from McCall to the Treasure and Magic Valleys.
