Two arrested after burglary, fight with bat

BOISE - Two people are in jail after fighting with a baseball bat during an apparent home burglary.

Police responded to a home on Maze St. near Bergeson Monday after they say a fight broke out between two men trying to burglarize the home.
Michael E. Torrey of Boise is charged with burglary and aggravated battery. Darren J. Schwartz of Boise is charged with burglary.
Police say Torrey and Schwartz were inside a home on Maze Street near Bergeson St. when the residents of the house came home - that's when the fight broke out.
Police say there is an undisclosed relationship between the suspects and victims, and that this incident is not random.
