BOISE -- The State Board of Education has created a subcommittee to work with the Legislative interim committee on community colleges. Board President Laird Stone will sit on the subcommittee, along with board members Blake Hall and Rod Lewis. Stone says the board strongly believes in the need for more community colleges in Idaho, and that it wants to work with the interim committee appointed by lawmakers earlier this year to ensure that community college legislation will win strong support next year.
