CASCADE - The CEO of Tamarack Resort was arrested in Valley County Thursday on a warrant out of Ada County.

Valley County detectives arrested Jean Pierre Boespflug Thursday afternoon on charges of failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident.

A Boise Police spokesperson says the charges stem from an incident in downtown Boise in September. Witnesses say Boespflug hit a parked car with his vehicle, got out, looked at the damage and then drove away from the scene.

Prosecutors filed charges in January - leading to his arrest yesterday. He was booked into the Valley County Jail in Cascade.

Boespflug posted a $300 cash bond according to Lt. Dan Smith with the Valley County Sheriff's Office -- and was released.

Boespflug joined Tamarack as CEO in July, 2000.
