Police say NNU athletes tried to burglarize Best Buy

NAMPA - Police say they foiled a plan to burglarize a Best Buy store overnight, landing five men in jail on charges related to the case.
NewsChannel 7 has learned that all five men are students at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa -- and four of the men are athletes.
Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the electronics store on Market Place Blvd. just before 12:30 a.m. Friday. Police responded to the store and set up a perimeter around the building.
They swept the property and say it looked like someone had tried to force their way into the building.
When police checked the roof they say they found Joseph and Joshua Grewe hiding.
The two men were taken into custody and charged with attempted burglary.
After investigating, police also arrested Kyle Gray, Dane Manley and Leon Vasquez – and charged them with aiding and abetting burglary.
Joshus Grewe is listed on the soccer as well as track and field roster.
Joseph Grewe is on the basketball roster, while Kyle Gray and Dane Manley are both on the track and field team roste
We spoke with an NNU official who confirms these four are students, but wouldn't confirm or deny their involvement with athletics.
They also say they are cooperating fully with the investigation
