Fast food flare up: possible road rage at McDonald's
08:37 AM MDT on Wednesday, March 26, 2008
Police say there was a fast food flare up in Boise Tuesday night.
Boise Police say two vehicles were pulling out of the McDonald's at 2223 West Fairview when a Silver Dodge Stratus rear-ended a white Chevy Blazer – and that's when the fries flew.
"The suspect driving the Stratus got out of the vehicle and accosted the driver of the white Blazer, threatening him, using bad language and hitting him with McDonald's food,” Mark Dalpiaz with Boise Police said. “Apparently the suspect was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Deputy Sheriff’s were on scene first and he resisted their efforts to control the situation so he was tased by the deputies."
Once they had the suspect under control, he was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center to have the taser probes removed. No one was seriously hurt in the incident.
