Elderly woman beaten, raped in Bench home

BOISE - Boise Police are searching for a man they say raped and beat an elderly woman in her home early Saturday morning.
Police found the woman in her Bench home near the area of Vista and Overland around 3:30 am.
The victim told police she was awakened by an adult male who broke into her home. He then raped and beat her before fleeing the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as an adult white male, 25 to 35 years old, thin build, with short dark brown or black hair.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
