Some local moms are upset about Keystone beer ads that have gone up on billboards across the Treasure Valley.

Some Treasure Valley moms believe ads for Keystone Beer targets teens with an inappropriate message.

Lamar Advertising says the ads seen at spots around the valley all bear the slogan "parties happen".

0ne of the billboards is near West Junior High, and Lynette Link and Sandy Stern say it attracts young eyes.

“These kids see this all the time, and it does, it promotes, you know, risky behaviors,” said Lynette Link who wants billboards taken down.

“This is a major artery for kids that walk home; kids that are bussed home that live up in this area. They drive by this sign every day,“ said Sandy Stern, a concerned mom.

The moms want to see the Coors Brewing Company take the Keystone billboards down, or at least move them further away from schools.

Local distributors say they have nothing to do with the national ad campaign.
