Powerball jackpot soars to $275 million

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Players plunked down millions of dollars for Powerball tickets for last night's drawing. And none of them had the right six-number combination to claim the $238 million jackpot.
As a result, the kitty will grow to an estimated $275 million for the Saturday night drawing.
Sixteen tickets sold in nine states did come close. They matched five of the six winning numbers. Each ticket wins a minimum of $200,000.
Last night's Powerball numbers were: 12, 19, 30, 34 and 36. The Powerball was 8 Power Play: 4
Tickets that match the first five numbers, but miss the Powerball, win $200,000 each, and there were 16 of those.
They were sold in: Indiana (3), Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri (2), Oklahoma, Pennylvania (5), Rhode Island, South Carolina, West Virginia.
There were no Power Play Match 5 winners.
