LEWISTON -- The Idaho Anti-Wolf Coalition has hired a law firm and is
taking the first steps toward suing the federal government.
The group wants wolves removed from Idaho.
Coalition steering committee chairman Ron Gillett says his group expects
to file a 60-day notice of intent to sue the federal government as soon
as possible.
The coalition claims the wolves released by the U-S Fish and Wildlife
Service are not native to the state.
Gillett and attorneys met Tuesday to discuss the planned lawsuit
challenging wolf reintroduction.
The coalition has hired the John Runft law firm in Boise.
