Former Hilltop Cafe to reopen July 4th

BOISE - A landmark on the way to Idaho City is about to reopen.
The former Hilltop Cafe has been closed for more than two years, but will soon reopen with a new name - Kodiak Grill & Country Store.
The store and restaurant will throw open its doors for a grand opening event on Independence Day - July 4th. The expanded country store quietly opened last September with a deli and ice cream counter, in addition to normal conveinence store items.
The restaurant will be open each day from 11:30 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Owners Donn & Danarea Clor plan to expand hours and add a breakfast menu within the next month.
The Hilltop Cafe site is near Lucky Peak on Idaho 21 between Boise and Idaho City.
