NAMPA - Thousands of people turned out for the final day of the Thunder Over Nampa air show.

Donations to the show benefit the Idaho Meth Project.

The project's executive director says the turnout this year was more than expected.

The money raised this weekend will help the Idaho Meth Project fund its prevention efforts.

People have seen the TV ads, radio commercials. We are trying to get the Not Even Once message out there to help people understand what an addictive scourge of a drug methamphetamine is so the money raised will help that media campaign in the future,” Megan Ronk with the Idaho Meth Project said.

Ronk says the pilots came from across the country and donated their time to help out the project.
