NAMPA - In the wake of a controversial decision to remove books with sexual content from the shelves of the Nampa Library – a member of the board has stepped down.
Nampa Mayor Tom Dale says attorney Bruce Skaug submitted his resignation earlier this week - effective July first.
Skaug was one of three board members who voted to remove "The Joy of Sex" and "The Joy of Gay Sex" from the shelves, and make them available in the library office instead.
NewsChannel 7 tried to contact Skaug, but he did not return our calls.
