BUHL -- A graduate of Buhl High School in south-central Idaho made it to
the top five on ABC's reality television show, The Scholar.
But in Monday's final episode, Liz Woods lost out on the show's top
prize -- a chance to be named The Scholar and get a $250,000
scholarship.
Still, Woods didn't walk away empty handed. She won a $50,000
scholarship and says that will make her dream of attending Yale
University a bit closer.
Melissa Hanna, from Tarzana, California, won the show's top prize.
