KETCHUM -- The former head of a Ketchum community development group has been cleared for extradition to California, where he is wanted on criminal charges.
A Blaine County Magistrate ruled Thursday that Gary Rapport, 50, can be turned over to California authorities.
Earlier this month, Rapport resigned his position as director of the Ketchum Community Development Corporation after reports surfaced he was named in an Orange County, Calif., arrest warrant.
Rapport is accused of second-degree burglary for stealing several thousand dollars from a market.
Rapport is being held in the Blaine County Jail on a $150,000 bond pending transfer to California.
