VALLEY COUNTY -- A mushroom picker who had been missing for four days in Valley County has been found safe.
Robert Huff, 46, was reported missing by friends on Saturday after he failed to return to camp in Yellow Pine Thursday night.
Valley County Search and Rescue, Forest Service employees and friends searched for Huff on Saturday and Sunday.
On Monday, the Idaho National Guard sent a Blackhawk helicopter from Boise to assist in the search.
Huff was located walking on a ridge top road southeast of Stibnite.
The helicopter was not able to land, so food and water was dropped to Huff until a vehicle could get to him around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
A Forest Service officer was able to reach him and pick him up.
