Flames and smoke enveloped a trailer on Idaho 21 near Grimes Creek Sunday night.
IDAHO CITY - Travelers trying to get back to the Treasure Valley after the long holiday weekend faced big delays on Idaho 21 tonight.
A trailer caught fire near the Grime's Creek turnout between Lucky Peak and Idaho City - sending big flames into the air and causing quite a show for drivers.
The owner of the trailer quickly pulled into a turnoff and unhooked the trailer, but the flames jumped into nearby grass and the fire spread toward the river.
Fire crews shut down the road for about an hour while they rushed in and doused both the trailer -- and the grass.
The fire is out and the road is back open.
No one was hurt.
