One in custody after stabbing in Garden City

Zachary Charles, 32, of Meridian, has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Garden City.
GARDEN CITY -- Garden City Police have arrested a suspect in an overnight stabbing.
The stabbing happened around 1:20 a.m. Friday at a mobile home at 4520 Iota in Garden City.
Police say it was a get together involving alcohol that got out of control.
They say 32-year-old Zachary Charles of Meridian got upset and attacked 33-year-old Joseph Phillips of Garden City.
Phillips was stabbed in the chest, stomach and face.
Investigators say Charles left the scene. They arrested him about five hours later in Meridian without incident.
Phillips is at St. Alphonsus in stable condition.More Local News
