There are lots of 4th of July fireworks celebrations planned across the valley.

BOISE -- Fireworks will light up the skies Friday for Independence Day and there are plenty of events for everyone.

A Fourth of July parade will make its way through the streets of Downtown Boise tonight. It starts at 6:30 p.m. at 10th and Bannock streets.

It will make its way east to 4th Street, south one block on 4th, west on Idaho and ends at Idaho and 12th.

The parade route will be closed at 6:15 p.m. A one block perimeter around the parade route will be closed as well.

If you're looking for a place to park Downtown, parking garages will be open and free to the public today.

Fireworks will follow at 10:20 p.m. in Ann Morrison Park.  You can watch the big show live on NewsChannel 7.

At dusk, fireworks will light the skies over Middleton, Meridian Speedway, the Boise Hawks Memorial Stadium and Eagle Island State Park.

In Melba, it's all day fun for the whole family at the Olde Tyme Fourth of July.

The Sun Valley Resort will launch fireworks on July 4th and 5th following its annual ice show.

And outside the valley, fireworks will soar over Idaho City, Lake Cascade and Payette Lake in McCall.
