Groups rally over abortion laws at Idaho Capitol

BOISE -- Hundreds of people gathered at the Idaho Capitol over the weekend to voice their opinions on abortion issues. KTVB A pro-choice group rallied at the State Capitol Sunday to mark the 33rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
The opposing rallies were held Saturday and Sunday, marking the 33rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion.
About 400 abortion protestors rallied on the front steps of the Statehouse Saturday.
The group, led by Right to Life Idaho, said nearly 50 million abortions have been performed in the United States.
Sunday a pro-choice group of about 200 gathered.
Speakers advocated improved access to emergency contraception and improved sex education.
