Idaho bank robbery suspect caught in Arkansas

Police say this man robbed a bank in Mountain Home on December 8th.

MOUNTAIN HOME - A suspect in an Idaho bank robbery is behind bars in Arkansas.

Mountain Home Police say John Keith McCaughan, 44 robbed the Idaho Independent Bank branch in Mountain Home on December 8th.

Police say McCaughan was stopped by Arkansas State Police for a broken headlight on his pickup truck.  Police say that’s the same truck he left Mountain Home in last month.

Police took McCaughan into custody on charges they possessed illegal prescription drugs.

He is being held in a Little Rock, Arkansas jail.
