A SUV rolled several times off of Bogus Basin Road Saturday evening.

BOISE -- A vehicle crashed Saturday night just before seven o'clock while a group of six people, including three children were on their way down from Bogus Basin.

The black 2004 Toyota Sequoia is still resting where it came to a stop off of Bogus Basin Road.

"It looks worse than that it really was," said Jon Goicoechea, crash survivor.

Thirty-year-old Jon Goicoechea is from Logan, Utah and is visiting family in Boise. He was a passenger in the car as it was heading down the mountain near mile marker nine when it went off the road.

His sister was at the wheel and also in the car were Jon's wife, son and two other children.

Jon says they were only driving between 25 and 30 miles per hour, but it was rainy when they crashed.

"I remember it being like a dryer...like a shoe in a dryer. That's what it felt like," said Goicoechea.

Turns out everyone inside was OK, but at first Jon could not find his son. But he soon saw him about 50 feet from the vehicle.

"He had his seatbelt on and he just slipped out of it and he just fell out of the window and knocked the wind out of him he said," said Goicoechea.

After the crash Jon was able to climb to the road where he found members of the Bogus Basin ski patrol and they called 911.

Now a day after the accident, Jon is back with some friends to get some personal items from the wreckage.  Looking down at it he is grateful things didn't turn out different.

"It's scary, it makes you think about what could have happened," said Goicoechea.

Jon says everyone in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt.  He expects the vehicle to be removed tomorrow.

The crash remains under investigation.
