Boise County Sheriff's are investigating a fatal accident that happened in Garden Valley Saturday afternoon.

Officers say 77-year-old Cedomer Platisa became trapped under snow that had slid off his home. The call came in at 1:43 p.m.

Emergency crews from Crouch, Garden Valley and Boise County all responded to the scene.

A deputy said the porch collapsed on the victim due to buildup of snow.
