Snow plows worked Interstate 84 early Thursday morning, trying to mop up after a wet, snowy storm that swept through Idaho Wednesday and into Thursday.

BOISE - A heavy wintry storm is making travel difficult on many of Idaho’s mountainous roads.

Idaho 21 between Grandjean Road and Banner Creek summit is closed due to high avalanche danger in the area.  This is the main route between Lowman and Stanley.  A rock fall has come down on to the road as well – and the road surface is packed with snow.

Idaho 55 heading north has packed snow from Banks north past New Meadows. Plows are working the roadways, which may cause delays for drivers.

A rock slide on Idaho 71 between Cambridge and the Oregon state line has the road down to one lane.  Equipment is working the road trying to clear debris, which may cause further delays.  The road surface is snow covered.

US 20 from Mountain Home to US 75 on the way to Sun Valley has a packed snow surface – as does US 75.
