KETCHUM -- Rock musician Steve Miller says he is auctioning off two signed, custom guitars to raise money for firefighters who battled wildfires near his Sun Valley home this summer.
Miller, whose popularity soared in the 1970s with hits like "The Joker" and "Fly Like an Eagle," is selling the instruments on eBay with a starting price of $32,000 each.
The guitars were crafted by Boise guitar maker John Bolin. Each has alder wood bodies, rosewood fretboards, engraved plates that read "Firefighters Rock" and airbrushed images of the Castle Rock Fire.
Miller has been active in raising funds for local fire crews.
This fall he teamed with actor Bruce Willis and singer Carole King to put on a benefit concert that raised about $113,000.
