there.
AP Tennis stars Andre Agassi and Steffie Graf have announced plans to build a luxury hotel at Tamarack Resort.
Tamarack Resort announced today Andre Agassi and his wife Steffie Graf aren't building a cottage or a chalet - they're building a hotel!
The tennis two-some has been in negotiations with Tamarack for at least three months to build a luxury hotel in the resort's village.
Very few of the details have been released at this point.
We don't know how many rooms the hotel will have or when ground will be broken, but Tamarack's public relations firm told NewsChannel 7 an internationally recognized chain will operate the new hotel.
The resort has been building an 18 hole championship golf course over the past year, which will open to the public Labor Day weekend, and you have to wonder what kind of tennis courts they might have with these two mega stars, now major investors in the property.
It truly has been an incredible week for Tamarack.
First, the national exposure the resort got from the president's visit is truly priceless.
Tamarack says there's no way to quantify the value of that kind of positive publicity.
And now you have two of the hottest tennis stars stepping up to the plate in a major way. It’s an incredible amount of validation for this resort that is less than a year old.
