TWIN FALLS -- A southern Idaho employer is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a fatal attack of an employee earlier this month.
Donald Chisolm, an attorney for Blincoe Farms Inc., sent a letter to Minidoka County authorities announcing the company is posting a reward in the slaying of Merced Jose Rodriquez.
Rodriquez, 24, was attacked Aug. 2 in his Rupert home and died later that day in a Boise hospital. His wife, Karina, was treated for injuries suffered in the attack.
The letter describes Rodriquez as an outstanding young man and that the Blincoe family wants to help police solve the crime. The letter was addressed to local law enforcement and the Minidoka County Prosecutor.
Detectives say the investigation is ongoing but no arrests have been made.
