COEUR D'ALENE -- The owner of a home in northern Idaho built over decaying animal bones and other trash that is now causing the house to collapse is suing the builder.
Margaret Cultice says it's a nightmare and she expects it will eventually cost $80,000 to fix.
Viking Construction built the one-story house in 2000.
An inspection by Viking officials found the house was built over organic material.
Viking has sued the company that sold them the land, Morko of Dalton Gardens.
Viking officials say Morko didn't follow Idaho building code when putting in fill atop of which Cultice's home was built.
According to court documents, Viking purchased the property from Morko under a contract that provided the grounds would be ready for residential construction.
