Four Treasure Valley residents arrested in E. Idaho drug bust

IDAHO FALLS -- Authorities in eastern Idaho arrested six people during a drug bust Tuesday at an Idaho Falls hotel, including four Treasure Valley residents.
Officers from the Idaho Falls Police Department and Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a room at the Le Ritz Hotel in Idaho Falls after receiving a report of possible drug activity.
Police also made a traffic stop near the hotel in conjunction with their investigation.
The search warrant and related traffic stop resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, a handgun and $2,400 in cash.
Four individuals were arrested during the service of the search warrant: Geoffrey S. Elawaldly, 20, from Idaho Falls; Uriel Montes-Guizar, 24, from Blackfoot; Jose A. Lucio, 26, from Boise; and Cady E. George, 19, from Kuna.
Two others from the traffic stop were taken into custody: Jose B. Molina, 28, from Ontario, Oregon, and Sylvia L. Martinez, 27, from Boise.
Each person has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and Molina was also charged with illegal possession of a firearm.
