BOISE -- An Idaho man was killed last Friday while serving in the U.S. Navy in Iraq.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Curtis R. Hall, who was 24, died in enemy action while conducting combat operations near Kirkuk.
He's at least the 23rd member of U.S. forces from Idaho to die since the American military invaded Iraq in March 2003.
Hall died with two other U.S. Navy sailors: Gregory J. Billiter, a 36-year-old from Villa Hills, Kentucky, and Joseph A. McSween, a 26-year-old from Valdosta, Georgia.
