BOISE -- A Boise man is behind bars charged with peeping through windows.

Police say 29-year-old John Frank Amaro was spotted Sunday morning looking through the windows of several homes on State Street.

Neighbors say Amaro also tried to get into at least one of those homes, but took off.         

Police found Amaro walking nearby and arrested him on charges of public intoxication and peeping through windows.
