Elderly woman dies in Cole Road accident

Police say two vehicles hit each other in an early morning accident in Boise, leaving an eldery woman dead.
BOISE - An 81-year-old Boise woman is dead after a car accident in Boise early Monday morning.
It happened at about 7:30 a.m. on Cole Road just north of Ustick Road.
The Ada County coroner says Lois Hebert died from blunt force trauma from her injuries.
Cole Road was closed for several hours while an accident reconstruction team investigated the crash.
Police say Hebert pulled off a side street into traffic and her car was hit broadside by another vehicle traveling northbound. The driver of the second car is a teenage male, and was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No one has been cited in the accident – as police have not yet determined who was at fault.
