The death of Mick Jagger's father could change the fate of some upcoming shows.
The rolling stones are making their way through the united states playing smaller venues like Boise, but now with the death of Mick Jagger's father, will the show go on?
93-year old Joe Jagger passed away last night.
But the rolling stone's spokesperson says for now the tour, including Boise's Tuesday night show, will go on as scheduled.
Joe jagger had been hospitalized since last weekend, when he broke a rib. A spokesperson says he eventually developed pneumonia and died.
This most recent rolling stones tour, "The Bigger Bang" started September 20th in Boston. Every show has been sold out, but the group has had to cancel some appearances recently.
Rolling stone tour dates were delayed by four days when the 63-year old Mick Jagger was advised to take four days off to rest his voice due to throat troubles. Now his father's death threatens to postpone, or cancel, even more shows.
I have a number of calls to the Idaho center spokesperson right now to see if she has been in contact with the tour's spokesperson.
Again, we're told the show will go on and we'll keep you updated if anything changes.
