Wildfire shuts down I-84 off-ramp

GLENNS FERRY, Idaho - A grass fire burning alongside Interstate 84 blocked an off-ramp for a couple hours Sunday afternoon.

The fire started at about 11 a.m. east of Glenns Ferry near the Elmore County line. The eastbound off-ramp was blocked while crews from the Bureau of Land Management and Glenns Ferry Fire Department battled the flames.

It took firefighters a couple hours to put the fire out.

At this point, there's no word on what caused the fire.
