TWIN FALLS - New video from inside the cockpit of Eddie Braun's rocket "Evel Spirit" might give you vertigo.
The video shows the Hollywood stuntman as he launches into the sky, leaving the Earth behind. The rocket spins several times before Braun deploys his parachute and gives a thumbs up.
It took just four seconds for the rocket to get up to full speed of about 430 mph and a height of about 2,300 feet.
The jump was a tribute to Evel Knievel, who in 1972 attempted unsuccessfully to jump the canyon in his Skycycle. Production company Weiward, who provided the video, plans to make a documentary on the jump.
