NAMPA - Even though Saturday is Veterans Day, it kind of feels like Veterans Day every day at one Canyon County tourist attraction.
The Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa has an amazing collection of warbirds dating back to World War I.
But it's not only about the machines. The museum also tells the story of the veterans who served our country.
"The airplanes are really important. They're gorgeous. They bring people there, but the stories keep people there. They're so personal. People leave the museum very emotional, very affected by our country's history because it's told in such a personal way," said Sue Paul, Executive Director, Warhawk Air Museum.
The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday.
Coming up this Sunday morning at 6:30 on Viewpoint, we'll look deeper into how the museum showcases military history and honors our veterans.
