BOISE - A candlelight vigil was held Friday night at the scene of a deadly road-rage shooting in West Boise.
Dozens of people came to the corner of Five Mile Road and Edna Street to honor Luis Rey Lara. Boise Police say the 38-year-old father of four was shot to death after a traffic dispute the night of Sunday, November 6. 21-year-old Jacob Wall of Boise is charged with second-degree murder in his death.
Lara's family and friends say he was an amazing person, and they're glad so many people took part in the vigil.
"It really -- it means a lot, because he touched a lot of people's lives," said David Stephensky, a friend of Luis Lara.
Lara's niece, Claudia Ramirez, said "I'm sad. I miss him more than anything. I wish he was here."
Many of the people who came to the vigil wore green, Lara's favorite color.
