Mountain Home youth participate in 'Shop with a Cop'

MOUNTAIN HOME -- Over 125 kids in Mountain Home spent the morning with various police, fire and Air Force officers for the 21st annual 'Shop with a Cop' event.

Each child was paired with an officer and treated to breakfast at the Elks Lodge, provided by McDonalds.

The kids and officers sang Christmas songs, played games, and even got a visit from the big man himself, Santa Claus!

After breakfast, they were taken to Walmart in their own police cars, where they were able to shop and pick out gifts for their family.

In total, over 80 families were sponsored this year.

If you are interested in making a donation for next year's event, you can do so at the Mountain Home Pioneer Federal Credit Union.
