ITD projects up for national award

BOISE -- The Idaho Transportation Department needs your help to win a national award and bring $10,000 back to Idaho students.

A pair of ITD projects made the cut to the final 12 from across the country. The two projects are Pocatello's South Valley Connector and Idaho's GARVEE Program, which helped accelerate several projects across the state.

If either entry is awarded the top prize, ITD will win $10,000 to be split between engineering programs at Boise State, Idaho State and the University of Idaho.

Voting will last throughOct. 31, and is open to the public.
