Interfaith Sanctuary Homeless Shelter needs new cribs

BOISE -- Interfaith Sanctuary Homeless Shelter is in desperate need of cribs and bedding.

They have five new babies at the shelter from women who have been staying there, or moms who just came in. Interfaith Sanctuary is asking the community to donate brand new, unused cribs and bedding for the health and safety of the babies.

"The cold definitely brings more people in," Executive Assistant at interfaith Sanctuary Paige O'brien said. "It's harder to stay on the streets when it's colder. You don't really want to stay - especially with a small baby. They can't really be outside in the cold."

If you are interested in donating a crib, you can bring it right to the shelter on River Street in Boise or Interfaith staff can pick it up.

Here is a link to the type of crib the shelter is accepting.
