JEROME - This video has caused a lot of controversy on social media.
It shows a Jerome school bus driver pouring water on an eighth grader.
The Northside Bus Company confirmed Saturday that the driver, Mary Black, has been fired, but would not go into further details because it is a personnel issue.
In the video, Black is seen confronting a student who she says was getting everybody wet by throwing a water bottle on the bus.
Black is then seen taking the bottle away from the student, then pouring water on him.
She can also be heard saying, "I don't want to touch you, because I don't want to get cooties."
She also demands that when the student speaks to her, that he speak to her in English.
She goes on to say that she doesn't understand Spanish and doesn't want to learn because she lives in America - an English-speaking country.
Coming up on the News at Ten, you'll hear from the student who shot the video and the parent who posted it on Facebook.
